When it All Started...
The restaurant originally opened as an intimidating and very formal French restaurant named The 95th®. Chicagoans’ Rick Roman and Nick Pynkis worked at the original restaurant as general manager and food and beverage director, respectively, before jumping at the opportunity to partner and purchase the renowned restaurant. Revamping the concept entirely, they opened The Signature Room at the 95th® and The Signature Lounge® at the 96th on July 3, 1993.
In honor of our 20th Annniversary we want to share the love with our wonderful and devoted patrons. We'll be hosting events and monthy contests so check back here often so you don't miss out!
