The Signature Room at the 95th® feels very strongly in giving back to the community.
The Charity of the Month program was founded in 1993 by owners Rick Roman and Nick
Pyknis.
Thanks to our partnership with a variety of local non-profit organizations, we are
able to have a direct impact on the number of people we help through our Charity
of the Month program. Since the inception of the program, The Signature Room®
has donated over $1 Million to 200 non-profit organizations in the Chicagoland
area.
How the Program Works:
The Signature Room® offers a monthly, four-course dinner menu, known
as the “Signature Selection” menu. The selected non-profit organization receives
10% of the sales from this menu, which is offered throughout the sponsored month.
Each month The Signature Room at the 95th® hosts a reception on behalf of the
featured charity organization. All profits from the reception go directly to the
Charity of the Month organization.
Review Process:
At the end of August, all applications are submitted and reviewed by the executive
committee, in the order applications were received, for consideration for the following
program year.
At the end of September, notifications of selection and non-selection are sent out
to
all applying organizations.
As a policy, we do not meet with candidate organizations. This policy was implemented
to maintain the equality in the selection process. All applications are reviewed
and selected based solely on the information submitted by candidate organizations
and research conducted by our staff.
