Wesley Conger’s 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry has allowed her to garner the coveted General Manager position at The Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Center. Her passion and determination has been the key to her success during the past few years with The Signature Room. Wesley graduated with a degree in theater arts, where she acquired the communication and leadership skills needed to manage an exuberant staff. Wesley believes that consistency and fairness is the best way to manage and be managed. Wesley states, “We have a phenomenal view, but if our service isn’t to the same caliber as our view, then the guest is not coming back. I believe we have to hold ourselves to a higher standard than most restaurants or lounges in the city, because we really are the restaurant that people look up to.”
Wesley started her career in the industry at Weber Grill Restaurant as a hostess before working as a server for 8 years. After realizing the industry was the right fit for her, she continued to dedicate herself to her work and continued on her journey as a lead trainer before becoming a manager. Her desire and love for the industry drove her to expand her horizons. When Wesley was approached by The Signature Room to take a management position, she knew it would be the perfect opportunity to master her expertise in the fine dining realm.
Outside of the restaurant, Wesley enjoys spending time with her son at the park or at picnics. Her love for the industry never fades as she can be found enjoying a glass of wine with her husband after a long day. She currently resides in Chicago, IL.
