Suburbanites will get a taste of Chicago cuisine closer to home when The Signature Room at Seven Bridges opens in the Spring of 2000. The banquet hall has the same owners - Infusion Management Group - as The Signature Room restaurant on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Center, on Chicago's Magnificent Mile.
Ground was broken in late June on a 35,000-square foot, one-story building on Route 53 just north of Hobson Road in Woodridge.
The structure will be adjacent to the clubhouse complex at the 18-hole Seven Bridges golf course.
The Signature Room at Seven Bridges will be able to accommodate up to four functions with 1,100 people for a single event, said Rick Roman, president of Infusion Management Group.

"Given the ongoing business and residential expansion in the west suburban corridor, we see this as a great opportunity to serve a fast-growing market in a very popular and prestigious location," Roman said.
The Infusion Management Group also will be tapping into the industry wide trend of restaurants adding on-site catering and banquet services, he added.
Aumiller Youngquist PC is the design firm for The Signature Room at Seven Bridges. MTI Construction Services LLC is the general contractor.
The Signature Room at Seven Bridges will have the same contemporary American menu and level of service as the downtown Signature Room, said Roman, who is also a past chairman of the Illinois Restaurant Association.
